The mechanical MX-5 disc brake by Hayes is the successor model of the popular Hayes MX-4 and compatible with all standard MTB brake levers for V brakes. As it comes with the post mount standard, the brake may be installed on both front and rear wheel. The proper disc rotor with a diameter of 160mm is already supplied with the MX-5.
